The Family

We are the Campbell's.  We work hard, play hard and pray hard.  We are striving to keep our heads above the waters of sin and hope to reach the beautiful shore in due time.  I am Jennifer and have been married to the love of my life, Luke, for 14 years now.  We were married at 20 & 19 respectively and I ditched college for work. (While I do not advocate this it worked for me - don't judge : -)  I spent a few years working in an office and eventually made my way into a daycare setting.  I worked as a pre-K/K teacher until my son became ill and needed to be out of the daycare germ factory.  It was then that I became an at-home daycare provider.  Over the years I have gone through all the steps necessary to become fully licensed, but have managed to maintain my own way of doing things.  My hubby works outside the home in order to maintain his sanity and all four of our children are school age and participants in the public school system.  Again, don't judge!  Our blessings are 15, 12, 9 and 7 - girl, girl, boy, girl - and they bring us much joy and grief.

The Dayare Plan

When I began caring for children out of my home, it was to enable me to be home with my children and to help care for my friends children.  It has since become a business, but it is still just a home filled with children and a place where old and new friends alike can feel confident that they have left their child(ren) in a warm, loving, safe, FUN environment.  A home away from home.  A place to be kids. It is my intent to play, teach and learn with your child(ren) while providing structure and stability. 

The House

Our home is located on the dead end of a quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac with no traffic and lovely neighbors.  We are a non-smoking family and the house has an open floor plan with maximum visibility.  We have a dedicated playroom on the main floor with areas for play, stories, crafts and creativity of all sorts and we have a basement for shelter in the event of a tornado (which in Kansas is important!)  All of that aside, the daycare business for us is a whole house affair!  They have moved in and taken over the joint!  There is not a square inch that has been untouched by daycare hands.  And I have the snotty fingerprints to prove it!

The Daycare Kids

We are a high energy group of kids with no time for stopping to smell roses.  We'd rather drive over them on our tricycle!! We are 9 kids strong with three who are full time school age, two who are 3 year old girls (read: drama queens), two 18 month old boys (read: bull in china shop), a beautiful 9 month old whom we all dote on and my handsome 4 month old godson.  Many of my families have been with me for many years and I have watched their children grow up in my home.  Any of my parents are available for contact as references, just brace yourself for the response : -)
